Gratitude & Momentum: Thank You for Supporting the SnoDay Morning Breakfast Conversation

The Marcus Jackson Project extends our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make the SnoDay Morning Breakfast Conversation a powerful and meaningful experience.

This gathering was more than just a breakfast — it was a call to action and a commitment to change. Held in honor of Marcus Jackson’s life and legacy, this event served as a space for truth-telling, connection, and collaboration as we work to shift the trajectory of violence in our communities.

We are especially thankful to our distinguished panelists:Judge Kendra Montgomery-Blinn, Judge Eula Reid, and North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls — your insight, transparency, and courage in sharing the realities of the justice system were invaluable.

We also thank the many individuals and groups who joined us and stood in solidarity, including:

  • Mayors and Town Council Members

  • County Commissioners

  • Law Enforcement officials

  • School personnel and educators

  • Department of Social Services representatives

  • Community leaders

  • Concerned residents

  • And all others committed to systemic change

Your presence was not just appreciated — it was necessary. Real, lasting impact requires a multi-system response. When all systems pull in the same direction, we create a ripple effect that transforms families, strengthens communities, and uplifts our youth.

This conversation is the first of many. In October, we will gather again to keep the dialogue moving — but more importantly, to develop actionable steps that reflect our shared responsibility and collective power.

Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for honoring Marcus. And thank you for believing that change is not only possible — it's already in motion.

With gratitude,

The Marcus Jackson Project Team
