This massacre reminded me of the senseless killings that happen every day in our community, the ones that have claimed the lives of our children here in Edenton and away from home.
Let Us remember the children we have had to bury because of VIOLENCE.
Let Us remember the fathers, mothers, brothers, and sisters, who are not here anymore, because someone had a moment of poor judgement, an emotional break, or simply just did not care.
Let Us remember the families that are left to pick up the pieces, in an attempt to find "normalcy."
